I'm Elena, a photographer and filmmaker based in Perth, Western Australia.

My work can be described as documentary, editorial and lifestyle. I'm interested in people, places and experiences.

I work across photography and video, from documenting renovations and hospitality spaces to creating content for tourism brands, couples, events and creatives. I also work in the camera department across broadcast and film, which has given me a love for being behind the camera in all kinds of ways.

I'm drawn to work that gets me outside and somewhere new. Travel, adventure and being outdoors have always been a big part of my life, whether that's camping, surfing, hiking or finding somewhere I've never been before.

I'm also very much a person who thinks a lot of life happens around a table. I love cooking, discovering new food and photographing the people and stories that come with it. My Italian heritage definitely had something to do with that.

A lot of my personal work comes from the same place: documenting family, food, traditions, travel and the everyday moments.

And when I'm not carrying a camera around, I'm probably cooking something, planning my next trip, heading to the beach, or at home with my three cats.
